Jesse C. Dickey was found dead of heart disease in his flat, in Bedford avenue, Brooklyn, New York today. Dickey, who was 50 years old, appeared to be a man with independent means, but with few friends. He never spoke of his antecedents. He intimated that he had property in Chester county, Pa., and that he lived on the income. He had long feared sudden death and directed the janitor of the building to notify the People's Trust Company, which had charge of his affairs, in case of his demise.
