DOUGLAS STARK
Douglas Stark, 1103 Wheeler Ave., was stricken ill at home Wednesday and pronounced dead on arrival at Scranton State General Hospital.
Born in Scranton, son of the late C. Ernest and Angie Cromwell Stark, he was the proprietor of a service station on Wheeler avenue for many years before retirement. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Petersburg Presbyterian Church.
Survivors are several cousins.
The funeral will be held Saturday from the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home, 1240 St. Ann's St., with services at 10 a.m. in the Petersburg Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Raymond Martsolf, interim pastor. Interment, Dunmore Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday night from 7 to 9. There will be no viewing.
