Retired, after thirty-two years of service, as an elementary school teacher for the Clairton School District, she also taught in St. Clare of Assisi in Clairton and St. Michael's in Elizabeth.

My Additional Comments:

In addition to her parents and husband, she was pre-deceased by [four younger sisters], and her baby brother, Philip J. Bateman [2008].
She was also pre-deceased by very good friend .... Irene M. Bohren ["Monty"], who passed away in 2008, [at the age of 101].
/
another friend Helen McGogney, died in 2011 [just 2-days before her 100th birthday], Helen was a teacher in Clairton & South Allegheny for many years.
and
Lotte Penner, her friend and dining companion while at Atria (assisted living), passed over in 2012 (at 91).
