Louis Lee Ingram was an allied descendant of John and Betty More's James line. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on February 27, 1910, to Sherman Robert Ingram and Maud Ellen McPherson. Louis married Mary Frances Brasted in Washington, District of Columbia on June 15, 1934. The couple had two sons together. Louis graduated from the United States Military Academy and was commissioned in the United States Army on June 12, 1934. Later in the 1930s he served as Harbor Artillery Officer at Corregidor, Philippine Islands. During World War Two Louis commanded an armored infantry battalion in Europe. He retired from the United States Army as a colonel. Louis died on January 23, 2002, in Mesa, Arizona and his ashes were interred in the Old Chapel Columbarium at the United States Military Academy.
