Nancy Margaret Collins Staggs, age 60, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born October 22, 1953 in Jackson, TN, the daughter of the late Oscar "Boots" and Mary Elizabeth Collins. She enjoyed cross-stitching, photography, writing and spending time with her family. Nancy was a 1971 graduate of South Side High School in Jackson, TN.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Ronnie Gene Staggs (whom she married Oct 6, 1972); a son, Nathan Collins Staggs of Murfreesboro, TN; two daughters, Ashley Elizabeth Staggs and Rebecca Colleen Staggs, both of Jackson, TN; three sisters, Sadie L. Brinkley (Charles), Charlotte A. Hunt (John) and Mary Frances Mosier, all of Medon, TN.
Funeral services for Mrs. Staggs will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Arrington Funeral Directors, with Dr. Mark Howard officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., at the funeral home.
