Brent Jeffrey Moore (Jeff B Moore), 55, of Kaysville, Utah (formerly of Idaho Falls, Idaho), returned to his heavenly home on July 9, 2014. He was at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born March 5, 1959, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to DeWayne Willus Moore and Ruth Betty Keiser Moore. He graduated from Shelley High School and attended Brigham Young University. He received a degree from Utah Valley Community College.

On April 16, 1983, he married his eternal soul mate and best friend, Crystal Ward, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They were blessed with three beautiful children.

He worked many years in maintenance and security for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Provo, Utah, Temple. He was an area manager for Edge Wireless. He also owned and operated his own business, Express Personnel Services in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Jeff's passion in life was to serve God and Jesus Christ and to help others. He served for two years as a full time missionary in the California, Los Angeles mission. He found immense joy and great satisfaction spending time with his family. He loved traveling, camping, cooking and driving any motorized vehicle at maximum speed. He loved the thrill of new adventures. Jeff was a fabulous father, a tender and caring husband and a loving grandpa.

There were many people who influenced Jeff and had a substantial role in his life, but none more profoundly than his mother and father-in-law, Leona and Harvey Ward. Jeff and Crystal enjoyed the privilege of having several additional children and loved ones in their home and life and considered them as family. Jeff will be missed by them and many of his former employees. He was a true leader and spiritual giant as a father and mentor. Many lives were changed for the better because of his love and influence.

Survivors include his wife, Crystal, children, Joshua (Andrea) Moore of West Haven, UT, Brianne and Brynn Moore, both of Kaysville, UT, and four granddaughters, Kayla, Madison, McKenlee and Briella Moore of West Haven, UT, two brothers, Ron (Chris) Moore and David (Iris) Moore, both of Oregon. His mother, Ruth Moore, his step mother, Deanna Cox Moore, and eight step siblings: Scot (Karen) Anderson, Kirk Anderson, Greg Anderson, Shawna (Jay) Wardell, Janet (Jay) Hammer, Diane (Richard) Spencer, and LaNae (Mike) Surerus. He was preceded in death by his father, DeWayne Moore, and his father-in-law, Harvey Ward.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at the Idaho Falls LDS Stafford Building, 2200 Stafford Drive. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and from Noon to 12:45 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
