She was born Oct. 14, 1918, in Georgetown to William Charles and Tibitha Irene Rodeback King. She received her early education in Montpelier.
She married Newel Lewis Dec. 7, 1935 in Montpelier. He preceded her in death in April of 1975.
She was a member of the LDS Church and the Helping Hands organization.
She enjoyed crocheting and all kinds of handiwork, fishing and hunting.
Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Claude W. (Jeanine) Newman and Mrs. Gary S. (Marilyn) Rasmussen, both of Idaho Falls; two sons, Newel Durell Lewis and Wayne K. Lewis, both of Pocatello; 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 21 at the Matthews Funeral Home in Montpelier. Burial was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
