Callie Howard Morgan was born May 18, 1919 in Hyden, Kentucky.

She was born to the union of the late Henry and Hallie Howard.

Callie was a homemaker, loving wife and mother.

She was a life long resident of Leslie County and was a member of the Muncy Creek Baptist Church. Callie passed away peacefully on Monday, June 02, 2014 at age of 95.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Bruce Morgan; brothers: Charlie, Walter and James; sisters: Gladys, Mildred and Grace.

Callie leaves surviving, one son: Lance Morgan of Hyden, KY; A nephew she loved as her own: Bill Turnbow; one daughter: Audrey Maggard of Hyden, KY; one brother: Eddie Howard (Jeanette) of Dayton, OH; three sisters: Freda Hinton of Dayton, OH, Polly Allred of Morganton, N.C., and Mary Rose Baker (Robert) of Morganton, N.C.; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren; A host of other family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, June 06, 2014 at the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Roger Wolfe officiating.

Burial will follow in the Morgan Family Cemetery at Hyden, KY.
