She was the daughter of Charles E. and Frances M. (Hockensmith) Smith of Hanover.
Kristin was a homemaker and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Hanover.
Surviving, in addition to her fiancé, Kevin R. Rhine of Manchester, and parents, are one daughter, Keisha N. Smith; one son, Daniel C. Harlacher; two brothers, Dale E. Smith of York, and Jerry S. Smith of Hanover; and one sister, Marisa R. Voland of Hanover.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl M. Smith.
