Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 11, at the funeral home with the Rev. Ryan Ritzmann, pastor of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield, officiating.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Litchfield.
Mrs. Brawley was born in Litchfield on March 30, 1924, the daughter of the late Sy and Kathryn (Weber) Hogsett. She married Rex Brawley at her parents' home in Litchfield on Feb. 14, 1944, and he survives.
In her early years she was a model for the May Company in St. Louis. She and her husband owned and operated Rainmaker Campground near Lake Lou Yaeger in Litchfield for 50 years.
Mrs. Brawley was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield, a Girl Scout leader for 26 years and enjoyed playing Bingo and Bridge, traveling, camping and golfing.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Wendy (Ed) Wuttke of Litchfield; granddaughter, Regan (Brian) Taylor of Breese; and great-granddaughter, Emma Taylor.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Brawley was preceded in death by her stepfather, Earnest Stamm; and brothers, Lanny and Jay Stamm.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
