as he was born of Henry Howland, Sr. and Mrs. Ann Margaret Aires Howland.
Henry Howland Senior, married Miss Anne-Margaret Aires on 26th of April, 1600 in Cambridge, England (St. Mary's). Anne-Margaret was born about 1567 in Essex, England. She died on 30th of July, 1629 O.S. in Fenstanton, Huntingdonshire, England.

They had Ten Children:

Jonathan's brother Humphrey was a member of the Drapers' Company of London. Their brother Simon was apprenticed to Humphrey in 1622 and made free of the company on March 24, 1629. Another brother Henry Howland, Junior was apprenticed to Humphrey on October 1, 1623, but apparently never finished his apprenticeship.
