Joyce Robinson, 93, of Jacksonville, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday at Pineland Presbyterian Church with Rev. David Vanderbilt officiating. Burial will follow at the Jacksonville City Cemetery. Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, Frankie Robinson. She is survived by two sons, Alan Robinson of Jacksonville and Charles Robinson of Austin, TX; and one grandson, William Robinson. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon, prior to the service, from 2 – 3 PM at the church and on Friday evening from 6 – 8 PM at her home, 2900 Richlands Hwy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pineland Presbyterian Church, 205 King Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540 or Carolina Animal Protection Society, PO Box 32, Jacksonville, NC 28541.
