Donna Fran Lorenz, age 51, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away Friday, May 11, 2012 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. She was born April 29, 1961 in Manatee County, Florida. Donna has special love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was the founder of TLC Cancer Ministries at the First Assembly of God in DeFuniak Springs. In her spare time she enjoyed riding the motorcycle with her husband James and spoiling her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, George Durrance.
Donna is survived by her loving husband, James Lorenz; mother, Lounette Durrance of DeFuniak Springs. FL; son, Kenneth James Lorenz of DeFuniak Springs, FL; daughter, Dena Bryan and husband Eric of DeFuniak Springs, FL; grandson, Luke Bryan; granddaughter, Alysa Bryan both of DeFuniak Springs, FL; two brothers, Robert Durrance of Dothan, AL and Ronald Durrance of DeFuniak Springs, FL; sister, Delores Woods of Bonifay, FL; father and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Pearl Lorenz of DeFuniak Springs, FL; and numerous extended family.
A time of visitation will be held Monday, May 14, 2012 at the First Assembly of god in DeFuniak Springs from 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the First Assembly of God beginning at 2 p.m. Committal services will follow at Gum Creek Cemetery. Flowers are being accepted.
