The funeral service for Patsy L. Travis of Paris will be at 2 p.m. Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home.

James Oates and Wayne Smith will officiate. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Chosen as pallbearers are Jeff Baker, Barry Boggard, Rodney McKinney, Jeremy Smith, Jason and Jordan Oates and Mark Peppers.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Friday.

Travis, 63, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.

Her husband, Gordon H. Travis, survives. They were married on Oct. 13, 1963.

Born April 11, 1948, in Paducah, she was a daughter of the late Ezra Lynn and Wanda Lane Potter.

She also leaves one daughter: Melissa (Doug) Peppers of Paris; three sisters: Vicki (Jimmy) Duncan of Gilbertsville, Ky., Karen (James) Oates of Iuka, Ky., and Sharon (Wayne) Smith of Providence, Ky.; one brother: M.E. Potter of Iuka; four grandchildren: Anthony Peppers, Kara Winters, Dillon Baccus and Hannah Peppers; and one great-grandchild: Ethan Peppers.
