Mrs. Hale was born in Rome, GA, on December 11, 1922, the daughter of the late Sam J. Locklear, Sr. and Rosa Mae Copeland Locklear. She retired from Sears after twenty years of service. Mrs. Hale was a member of First Baptist Church of Rome and a member of the handbell choir. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hale was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hale in 1972.
