Timothy R. "Tim" Duncan, 46, of Newnan passed away Monday, July 7, 2014.
He was born April 26, 1968 in Coweta County to Howard Richard Duncan and Aundrea Ivey Duncan. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Howard Duncan and Curtis Ivey.
Tim grew up in Newnan and graduated from Newnan High School. He was a lifelong, active member of Trinity Baptist Church where he was an integral part of the youth program. Tim worked for Newnan Utilities for the last 21 years, most recently as the Purchasing and Inventory Control Manager.
The funeral will be Friday, July 11, 2014 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Couch and Rev. Randy Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The visitation is Thursday evening between 5-8 at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St, Newnan.
Survivors include wife, Mandy Griffin Duncan; sons, Austin Duncan, Griffin Duncan; parents, Rev. Rick and Aundrea Duncan; grandmothers, Mae Stephens, Mabel Ivey; sisters, Rhonda Roberts and husband Kevin, Karen Cheeves and husband Ernie; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
