Mrs. Gerrit W. Niezink, 78, Sioux Center, died March 23 at the Sioux Center Community Hospital after a long illness.
Services were at 1:30 P.M. March 25 in Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center. The Rev. Henry Vanden Heuvel officiated. Burial in Pella Cemetery will be under direction of the Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center.
Mrs. Niezink, the former Sara Stam, was born April 2, 1897, in The Netherlands. She moved to the Pella area when she was 5 years old.
She was married at Pella Dec. 21, 1965.
Survivors include the widower and a sister, Mrs. Henry Crum.
