Mrs. Anna Mae Knight, age 96, of LaGrange, died on July 9, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel with Dr. William Hope Taylor, Rev. Meg Morrison and Pastor Chalton O. Askew offficiating.. Interment to follow at Shadowlawn- Hillview Annex. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning beginning at 11:00 am until service hour. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church, 101 North Davis Rd., LaGrange, 30241. Mrs. Knight was born on October 5, 1917 in Franklin, Al. to the late Oscar McGager Sears and Fannie Lee Crumpton Sears. She retired from Callaway Mills after more than 25 years, followed by over 20 years working with the Senior Companion Program. The family of Mrs. Knight would like to express their gratitude to the Angels of Hope Hospice, Senior Companion Program and her special care giver, Earlene Pressley. Survivors include her daughter, Bobbie Jean Erquitt and her husband Carris of LaGrange; 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
