Her death notice from the Oct. 9, 1875 Vermont Journal:
"The funeral of Miss Anna P. Redfield, daughter of Chief Justice Isaac F. Redfield, of Boston, was attended at St. Paul's church, on Saturday morning 2nd inst, Rev. T. J. Taylor, Rector, and Rev. Mr. Stickney of Bethel, officiating. A number of citizens and friends in the village who learned the appointed hour, among whom we noticed Hon. Jason Steele and Wm. M. Evarts and others, were present. The chancel was beautifully draped with flowers and autumn leaves and the casket was completely covered with fresh wreaths and crosses, which were the spontaneous offerings of warm personal friends. the music, under the leadership of Mr. L. W. Stocker was pleasant and consoling, an the entire services were touching and impressive."
