Funeral services for Jennifer Lee Ward, 44, of Skiatook OK, were held Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel in Skiatook, with Reverend Dale Nielsen officiating.
Interment in Osage Garden Cemetery in Skiatook, OK, was under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home.
Casket bearers for the service were Tony Thompson, Clint TeeHee, Ellijah TeeHee, Isaiah TeeHee, William Godbey, Tyler Godbey, Dallas Pruett and Dondi Sheppard.
Honorary casket bearers were William E. Harry, Houston TeeHee, Robert TeeHee, Brad Thompson, Larry Mayberry and Terry Thompson.
Jennifer passed away on July 9, 2014, at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa.
She was born on April 18, 1970, in Sacramento, CA to Ira Lee Jr. and Myra (TeeHee) Ward.
She was a graduate of Turlock High School in California. After high school she traveled to and lived in Germany.
Jennifer moved from California to Tulsa in 1995, where she worked for American Airlines in the finance department.
When American Airlines downsized she attended Tulsa Community College working toward entering the medical field. She later moved to Skiatook.
Jennifer loved life and having fun, was energetic, generous, loving and devoted to her beloved daughter, large extended family and endless friends.
Jennifer is survived by her daughter Addison Marie Kelley of Skiatook; parents Myra and William Harry of Skiatook; a sister Dena Marie Seidel of Skiatook; almost sister Tricia Hardy of Broken Arrow; devoted soul mate Steven Shay of Skiatook; Addison's father Joseph Kelley of Hominy; loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Ira Lee Ward Jr., paternal grandparents Margie Lee and Ira Lee Ward Sr. and maternal grandparents Hazel Ellen and Charles H. TeeHee.
