Notes from Valders:
August Procho(sic) died last Friday after a week's illness of
influenza at the home of Rheinold Glassow, where he was employed.
The deceased was born at Collins September 25, 1900 and was 18
years of age. Besides his parents, August is survived by five
sisters, Ida (Mrs. Schwabe) of Quarry, Bertha (Mrs. Schroeder)
of Collins, Flora (Mrs. Thobe) of Appleton, Paulina (Mrs. Rheimer)
of Collins and Selma (Mrs. Erickson) of this place; also five
brothers survive him, Albert and Gustav of Reedsville, Charles and
Willie of this place and Elmer at home. the remains were brought
to his home at Collins Saturday afternoon. The funeral is held this
afternoon from the German Lutheran Church at Reedsville.
