Married Kisiah Rebecca Susan Phillips 30 Mar 1893 in Braxton County, WV.

Daniel and Kisiah's marriage took place at Willis Brady's residence in the Chapel area. (Willis was Daniel's first cousin. He had married Kisiah's sister Cassa Phillips.) At the time of Daniel's death, his residence was rural Chapel, Otter District, Braxton County. Services were held in Loyd's Funeral Home in Gassaway.

Information from a granddaughter:
About 1917, Daniel and Susan Brady were living near Frametown, at a place called Shadyside, which was a passenger-train pick-up point. Before 1920, Daniel and Susan moved to a three-room plank house at Grass Lick, north of Gassaway in Otter District, and the younger kids grew up there. The kitchen was "papered with newspaper" and Susan would "boil clothes outside." The farm was within walking distance of Fairview Church and Gerwig's store. The kids could walk to the store, or to the church to "play in the church yard after Sunday School". To get to the farm from Gassaway, take Chapel Road to Grasslick Road & turn right. "The farm is on the right, but there is probably not anything there now".

"at the family cemetery there is a marker for Daniel G. & Susan K.R. Brady, but not for Daniel's parents, although they are said to be buried there." .... "Several years ago we went to the Brady cemetery where your Daniel and Susan are buried. The cemetery was back on a hill and all grown up." - Donna Brady
