Frank Svatek 69, died suddenly at his home in Reedsville late yesterday afternoon.
Funeral services will be held at the Reedsville Coop funeral home at 9 a.m. Thursday and at St. Mary’s Catholic church at 9:30 a.m. with the Rev. William Koutnik officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 7 p.m. tonight where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. The rosary will be repeated at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Mr. Svatek was born in July 1877 in the town of Cato and married Antonia Dvorachek in 1899. He was a member of the Holy Name society.
Survivors are his wife; two sons, Joseph and Frank, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Steve Foreyt of Reedsville; one brother, Emil of Reedsville and 12 grandchildren.
