Manitowoc.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 1992, at St. Mary Catholic
Church, Reedsville. Concelebrates will be Rev. Nicholas Johannes and Rev. John
Becker with burial in the Parish cemetery.
He was born September 29, 1934, in the Town of Franklin, son of the late Edward J.
Sheahan Sr. and Elizabeth O'Niel Sheahan. He was married to Janice Reis on
September 5, 1959, in Whitelaw. Mr. Sheahan served in the U.S. Army Infantry from
1957 to 1961. He then worked as a tool and die maker at the Ariens Company in
Brillion for 32 years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville,
an usher in the Church, and he was a lifetime member of the AmVets Post 1032,
Reedsville.
Survivors include his wife, Janice; two daughters and one son-in-law, Linda Sheahan,
at home, Lois and Mark Spatchek, Brillion; four sons and three daughters-in-law,
Kenneth and Sharon Sheahan, Cleveland, Ohio, Robert and Brenda Sheahan, Chilton,
Randal Sheahan, Seattle, Wash., Timothy and Joan Sheahan, Reedsville; six
grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Donald Remiker, Manitowoc;
two brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Doris Sheahan, Whitelaw, Edward and
Lenora Sheahan, Manitowoc. He was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law,
Arleen and John Rathsack.
Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home, Reedsville, from 4 until 9 p.m. on
Thursday, November 19, 1992, and on Friday from 7:45 a.m. until 10 a.m. when family
rites will be held. There will be a parish vigil at 8:15 Thursday evening.
