She was born September 3, 1942 in Lake Arthur to the union of her parents, Eddie and Ezora Pete LaBauve. Mrs. Breland was a homemaker.
Services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 8, at the First Baptist Church in Jena with the Revs. Mickey Bounds and Dominick DiCarlo officiating.
Interment followed in the Magnolia Cemetery in the Magnolia Community south of Jena under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, (Eldridge Joseph) Jimmy LaBauve.
Survivors include her husband, C. W. Breland of Jena; two sons, Bill Breland and wife Susie of Jena, and Dennis Breland of Shreveport; two sisters, Hazel Bearb of Church Point and Edith Bergeron of Sulphur; four brothers, Willie LaBauve of New Iberia, Milton and Wilford LaBauve, both of Lake Arthur, Raymond LaBauve of Texas; and six grandchildren.
