He was born September 3, 1954 in Jonesville to the union of his parents, James Quitman and Anna Miles Boyette.
Services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 15, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Tommy Sanson officiating.
Interment followed in the Evangeline Cemetery of Wildsville under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena.
Survivors include three brothers, Charles Boyette, Johnny Boyette, and James Boyette, all of Jonesville; two sisters, Guynell Young of Tioga, and Inez Book of Trout; and a host of nieces and nephews.
