W. W. Dyche, aged 49 years, died this morning at 5:30 o'clock from heart trouble, at the home of his brother, L. L. Dyche. Mr. Dyche came here about two months ago from California.
He was born near Overbrook in 1859 and had lived at Auburn, Shawnee county, most of his life. He was a merchant there for several years. He leaves five children, a girl and four boys. Two of the boys are in California and two are with relatives at Auburn. The daughter, who is 12 years old, is here with Prof. L. L. Dyche's family. The body will be taken to Auburn tomorrow and the funeral will be held Sunday at 2:30 o'clock. - Lawrence Weekly World, Thursday, 9 July 1908.
