He was born near Overbrook in 1859 and had lived at Auburn, Shawnee county, most of his life. He was a merchant there for several years. He leaves five children, a girl and four boys. Two of the boys are in California and two are with relatives at Auburn. The daughter, who is 12 years old, is here with Prof. L. L. Dyche's family.
