Obituary of Nathaniel Thompson
Nathaniel Thompson, of Pascagoula, MS, passed Thursday, July 3, 2014. He retired from Ingalls Shipyard and was a proud member of Pride of Pascagoula #485 Masonic Lodge for forty-five years.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of sixty-four years, Mae Ola Thompson. They were childhood friends, attended elementary school together, and became lifelong companions.

Nathaniel leaves cherished memories to daughters, Angela Winters, Linda Pitts, Vernesta Harris, and Brenda DiRenzo; sons, Bobby Thompson and Ricky Thompson; eighteen beautiful grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 10, 2014 at St. Peter's Baptist Church, 1320 Market Street, Pascagoula, MS with the viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Scranton Cemetery, Pascagoula, MS. All arrangements entrusted to Millender's Funeral Home, 4412 Main Street, Moss Point, MS.
