Marsha Lynne Ward, 61, of Roanoke passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2014, surrounded by her loving family, after a long battle with cancer. Service: 11 a.m. Thursday, July 10, at First Baptist Church of Roanoke. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth Nation Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Ridge Funeral Home. Marsha was born Oct. 21, 1952, to Jack E. Hanna and Ruth Clinton Hanna. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hanna. Survivors: Husband of 39 years, Chris Ward of Roanoke; sons, Daniel Ward of Justin and Casey Ward and wife, Anna, of North Richland Hills; three granddaughters, Shelby Ward, Dakota Ward and Braelynn Ward; sisters: Hazel Miller and Nancy Bannister; brothers, Jack Hanna and wife, Ann, Rick Hanna and wife, Felicia; and numerous nieces, nephews, other loved ones and friends.
