Gladys M. NewQuest, 91, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, formerly of Midland, Arkansas died Saturday, January 17, 2004, in her Ft. Smith home. She was retired from Civil Service at Fort Chaffee and a member of Midland United Methodist Church.
Funeral was held at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Mount Olive Cemetery in Midland.
She is survived by two daughters Wanda Sue Hanes of Hackett Arkansas and Billie Jean Kent of Pocola Oklahoma, a sister Alberta Strittman of Fort Smith , eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
