Age 69, died unexpectedly Thursday, September 27, 2001 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton. She was born October 1, 1931 in Reedsville, Wisconsin the daughter of the late William and Bertha (Leick) Kabat. Max is survived by her two daughters and a son-in-law: Ronda Hauser, Kaukauna; Roberta (Don) Rodgers, Bruceville, Texas; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters and three brothers-in-law: Marvis (Joseph) Mayerl, Kaukauna; Mickey (Ralph) Breit, Brillion; Marie (Robert) Makoutz, Brookfield; a sister-in-law, Kitty Kabat, Green Bay; special niece, Karen Mayerl, Madison; numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Todd; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Bud (Eleanor) Kabat and Bill Kabat. Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Tuesday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Kaukauna with Fr. David Schmidt officiating. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Reedsville. Friends may call directly at the church from 3 p.m. Tuesday until the time of services. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family.
