Frederick J. "Fritz" Haelfrisch, age 72, of 232 Mill St., Reedsville, died
Thursday evening, April 25, 1996, at the Appleton Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 29, 1996, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's
Catholic Church, Reedsville. Rev. Ronald Guillette will celebrate the Mass of
Christian burial with burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Haelfrisch was born June 28, 1923, in the town of Rockland, son of the late
Adolph and Frieda Rusch Haelfrisch. He attended school in the town of Rockland.
On August 16, 1947, he married the former Marian Ebert at St. Michael's Catholic
Church, Whitelaw. The couple farmed on the family farm in the town of Rockland
and Fritz also worked for the Brillion Iron Works for 33 years retiring in 1988.
The couple moved to Reedsville at the time of his retirement and Fritz was
currently working at the Reedsville Equity Sales Barn. He is a member of St. Mary's
Catholic Church, Reedsville, the Reedsville Lions club, Whitelaw Sportsman Club,
and the Wisconsin Dairyland Horse Pullers.
Survivors include his wife, Marian, Reedsville; three daughters and sons-in-law,
Sandra and Gary Luedtke, Greenleaf, Rosemary and Larry Zutz, Reedsville, Debbie
and Tim Nate, Cato; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Debbie Haelfrisch,
Reedsville, Tom and Chris Haelfrisch, Brillion, Larry and Monica Haelfrisch,
Reedsville; 17 grandchildren; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Myrtle Krueger,
Manitowoc, Helen and Gully Diener, Reedsville, Florence Schultz, Reedsville; three
sisters-in-law, Eleanor Haelfrisch, Francis Creek, Anita Haelfrisch, Manitowoc, Iva
Haelfrisch, Reedsville; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Clifford, Norman, Clarence and Ray, and
one sister, Lorretta Krueger.
Relatives and friends may call at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Reedsville, on Sunday
from 4-8:30 p.m. and on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. There will
be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Sunday led by Father Guillette.
Reinbold and Pfeffer Family Funeral Services, Kellnersville, is assisting the family
with funeral arrangements.
Thank you to all the physicians, nurses, and pastoral staff of Appleton Medical
Center for all their love and support shown to Fritz and our family during dad's
stay there.
