He was born May 31, 1916 in Reedsville, son of the late Peter and Rose Steffel Gosz. On May 4, 1940 he married the former Helen Burich. The couple recently celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Mr. Gosz had been employed at Clipper City Transit and then at consolidated Freightways. Mr. Gosz was in charge of patient accounts at St. Vincent Hospital for 20 years. He was president of The Southwest Kiwanis Club and was a member of the Tree Farm Associatioin of America. He was always thoughtful of future generations and owned and operated a tree farm in Florence County.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; three sons and daughters-in-law, John R., and Karen Gosz of Livonia, Michigan, Robert and Ann Gosz of Green Bay, Joseph and Monica Gosz of Green Bay; a daughter, JoAnn Gosz of Green Bay; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jacqueline, Jason, Rebecca, Elizabeth and Matthew; two step grandchildren, Eric and Nick; a brother, Rev. Isadore Gosz O.Praem, of DePere; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary and Paul Rohrer of Manitowoc, Florence Brunner of Waupaca, Sally Geiger of Cato; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Alice and Wallace Ott of DePere, Joseph and Alice Burich of Manitowoc, Mary Kanter of Reedsville, Mildred Orth of Manitowoc, Dolores Burich of Brillion. He was preceded in death by his
in-laws, Leroy Geiger, George Kanter, Roy Orth, Julia and Ray Grasser and John Burich.
