JOSEPH DVORACHEK (d. 1940)

Joseph Dvorachek, 67, retired farmer of the town of Maple Grove, died at his home four miles west of Reedsville Tuesday afternoon of a heart ailment. He had been in failing health but had shown improvement recently.
Funeral services will be held next Tuesday at 9:15 o’clock at the residence and at 9:30 o’clock at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Reedsville. The Rev. William Koutnik will officiate. The body will lie in state at the Reedsville Cooperative association undertaking parlors until Saturday evening when it will be taken to the residence.

Mr. Dvorachek, son of the late John and Anna Dvorachek, was born in Maple Grove Dec. 8, 1872. On June 11, 1901, he married Miss Frances Burich. They settled on the Dvorachek homestead and resided there ever since.

The survivors are the widow, one daughter, Mrs. Mary Geiger of Maple Grove; five sons, Stephen of Manitowoc, Frank of Branch, John and Adolph of Maple Grove and Joseph at home; two brothers, Anton and Charles of Maple Grove; one sister, Mrs. Frank Svatek of Reedsville; and 15 grandchildren.

Mr. Dvorachek was a member of the Holy Name society.
