Janet L. Barnard, age 62, of 210 Birch Lane, Reedsville, passed away on Monday,
February 12, 1996, at the Calumet Homestead in New Holstein.
Funeral Services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 1996, at St. Mary
Catholic Church, Reedsville. Rev. Ronald Guillette will officiate with burial in
the parish cemetery.
She was born September 23, 1933, in Kiel, daughter of the late Joseph and Olivia
Scharenbrock Ramminger. On June 20, 1959, she married Donald Barnard, in Kiel.
Jan was a graduate of Kiel High School and Lakeland College. She taught school
in Oakfield, Reedsville and Brillion and then taught at St. Patrick's in Maple
Grove for 13 years. In 1987, she became Executive Director of the Reedsville
Housing Authority.
Survivors include her husband, Donald; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael
and Debra Barnard, Appleton, Robert Barnard, Neenah; six grandchildren, Christopher,
Joshua, Taylor, Cassie, Brooke and Payge; one sister-in-law, Donna McDonough,
Reedsville. Jan was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gerald
Ramminger.
Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
The Wieting Funeral Home, Reedsville, is assisting the family with funeral
arrangements.
