Thursday, July 17, 2014 — Al Whittemore, 70, of Ocala, Florida, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on July 7, 2014.
He was born January 7, 1944, in Burlington, Vermont.
Survivors include sister, Caroline Gilbert and spouse Dave of Ocala, Florida; six daughters, Stacy Fredette and spouse John of Murphy, N.C., Christina Bolton of Richfield, N.C., Tammy Hudson of Albemarle, N.C., Brenda Crews and spouse John of Albemarle, N.C., Kristal Whittemore of Gilmanton, N.H., Amanda McSweeney and spouse Shannon of Newport, Vt., and special friend, Shirley Nichols of the home. He also leaves behind 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at Pure Heart Family Church, Albemarle, N.C., at 2 p.m. on July 26, 2014.
A celebration of life will be at his daughter's home in Richfield following the memorial service.
