TODD, Jr., Roland Shelton, age 74 of Lakeland, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014, as a result of complications of pneumonia.
Mr. Todd was born October 12, 1939 in Pahokee, FL. He and his family moved to Lakeland in 1974. Mr. Todd was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army. He was a longtime employee of PECU Insurance Agency, where he served as an insurance agent. He founded Todd Insurance Agency in 1995, where he and his wife, Christine, served the insurance needs of the Lakeland community for almost 20 years.
Mr. Todd was preceded in death by his beloved step-daughter, Dawn Houpt. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Christine Todd; sons, Charles Todd, Keith Todd and his wife, Donna and Shelton Todd and his wife, Yari; step-son, Robin Houpt and his wife, Michelle; step-daughter, Rebecca Pincus; sisters, Sheila and Pamela; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 1 more on the way; and many other devoted family members and dear friends.
Mr. Todd's family will receive friends Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 2-3 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home at 2125 South Bartow Highway in Lakeland.
