Mrs. Florence O. Sinks, 94, of 416 E. Walnut St., Lodi, died Tuesday morning in a local hospital after a short illness. She was a native of Lodi.
She attended Henderson elementary school and the old Salem School. She was employed by Friedberger and Kauer Co. for many years. Later she was assistant matron at Stockton State Hospital before retiring in 1940.
She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Lodi, and the last chapter member of the Lodi Chapter 150, Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her half-sister, Mrs. Elma Blais of Lodi. She was the daughter of the late James and Hannah Huffman, pioneers of the Lodi area.
