Catherine, 95, of Kalkaska, Michigan formerly of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at the Kalkaska Long Term Care Facility. Catherine was the daughter of Herbert A. and Agnes Dunn Golden.
She married Homer Wood who preceded her in death on September 13, 1998. Catherine worked as a bookkeeper for many years.
Catherine is survived by her two children, Joyce Ann Gleason of Plano, TX and Richard Lee Wood of Kalkaska, MI; ten grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Robert Homer Wood; and a sister, Agnes Fisk.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 from the Rowley Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Connie Bongard of the Farwell United Methodist Church officiating.
