Larry M. Woodward of Cozad, Neb. passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Emerald Care Center at the age of 76.

Larry was born Jan. 5, 1944 in Callaway to Merril and Esther (Rarden) Woodward.

On July 25, 1975, he married Joanne Malcom in Lincoln. The couple made their home in Cozad where they lived their entire married life.

Larry worked in food service at Valley Vending, Evans Bakery and, for several years, at the Cozad Grand Generation Center until his retirement.

He enjoyed playing pool, bingo and going on Pioneer Picnic Trail Rides. Larry collected dolls, Beanie Babies and match box cars.
He was skilled at all kinds of crafts, especially woodworking and embroidery.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; sister Detta Wright; and nephews Joe and Jon Woodward.

Survivors include brothers Cecil Woodward of Callaway and Gail (Jo) Woodward of Loveland, Colo.; sisters Peggy (Dick) Holeman of Arcadia and and Carolyn (Rich) Elliott of Lone Oak, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 17 at Woldheim Cemetery near Callaway with Ken Pitkins officiating. Visitation with family present will be Tuesday, 5-7 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad.
