Ewing Cook, 61, a lifetime resident of the Ava community, died Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Mtn. Grove Rest Home, where he had been a resident since June 19.
Funeral services were conducted at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home Chapel here Sunday afternoon with the Rev. C. W. Duffer of Ava officiating. Burial was in Murray Cemetery.
Mr. Cook is survived by three brothers and a sister, John Cook, Route 3, Ava, Mrs. Rosa Owens, Liberal, Mo., Walter Cook, Route 5, Ava, and Dewey Cook, Romance, Mo.
