She was born in Dallas and grew up there. She graduated from Franklin High School in Los Angeles and lived there until returning to Dallas in 1942. She returned to Los Angeles in 1956 and came back to Dallas in 1970. She moved to Milwaukie in 1988 and was a member of the Dallas Evangelical Church. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, gardening and flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl in 1987.
Survivors include her son, Myron of Oregon City; daughter, Katherine Vevang of Tampa, Fla.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at the Dallas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Bollman Funeral Home.
