DRAKE, Sr. William Edward age 84 of Dayton, passed away on July 7, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Eileen June Drake, children William E. (Janice) Drake Jr., Denise (Stephen) O'Neil, Leanne (Robert) Taulbee and Marisa Jackson, granddaughters Haley O'Neil, Taylor O'Neil, Sydney Jackson, Kayte Jackson, brother Andrew Drake, and numerous other relatives and friends. William served in the United States Army during the Korean War, was a Firefighter for the City of Dayton for 25 years and worked at Tuffy Brooks Sporting Goods for over 40 years. He was a lifetime member of the Milton Athletic Club.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Rd., Riverside, OH. Fr. Dave Brinkmoeller celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. from 6 pm - 8 pm on Wednesday, July 9. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Helen Catholic Church. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.tobiasfuneralhome.com.
