A lifelong resident of Hunterdon County, she was born in Flemington, NJ June 2, 1919, daughter of the late Walter and Viola Shipman Hann.
Cora was employed for forty years by Commercial Dress Factory, High Bridge, NJ. She was also a foster parent for many years.
Her husband, Charles "Zip" Landon, died in 2010 and she was also pre-deceased by her sister, Betty Buck, and three brothers, Walter, Grover and Herbert Hann.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Randy Simerson of Whitehouse, NJ; four grandchildren, Melody Simerson, Donna (Stanley) Nieliwodski, Robin Simerson, who was her grandmother's caretaker, and Kelly (Randi) Taranto; eight great grandchildren, Morgan Scopetto, Crystal Aungst, Nicole, Kyle and Randi Taranto, Cole, Clint and McKenzie Murvin; and two great-great-grandchildren, Landon and Jordyn Aungst.
