WARREN, OHIO — MARSH – Edward D., 83, Warren, Ohio, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014. He was born July 29, 1930, in Windber, son of the late John and Margaret Shake Marsh. He married Kathryn Tobias Aug. 6, 1955. He was employed by Ohio Corrugating Co. for 31 years and also IPS (International Pharmaceutical Services) for 18 years. Edward was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall and also a member of Windber and Trumbull County Boxing Hall of Fame. He won the Golden Gloves competition in Pittsburgh. Edward enjoyed hunting, golfing, bowling, stock car and motorcycle racing, but most of all spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Memories of Edward will be cherished by his loving wife of 58 years, Kathryn Marsh, Warren, Ohio; son, Edward J. (Carol) Marsh, Mineral Ridge, Ohio; daughters, Tami (Mark) Salgado, Champion, Ohio, and Terri (Carl) Ham, Mannington, W.Va.; beloved grandchildren, Christopher, Courtney, Heather, Kathryn, Jaclyn, Jason, Michael, Mark, Briana, Tiffany, Kelly and Dustin; and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ellen Stiffler; brothers, James, Robert and John Marsh; granddaughter, Nicole; and great-grandson, Corbin. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2014, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Mr. Jeff LaBuda will officiate. Family and friends are kindly invited to visit from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, Warren, Ohio. Edward will be laid to rest at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014, at the Richland Cemetery, Johnstown. The family requests any material contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 70 West Streetsboro St., Suite 201, Hudson, Ohio 44236, in his memory.
