Countess Bertha Beatrice de Morvois was born abt 855 in Bohain, Aisne, Picardie, France. She was the daughter of Guerri I de Morvois (820-886) and Eva of Roussillon Countess of Morvois (825-862).

Bertha married Herbert I Count of Vermandois (848-907) in Vermandois, Aisne, Picardie, France in 879. He was the son of Pepin, Count of Vermandois (817-850) and Rothaide de Bobbio Comtess de Vermandois (812-858).

Herbert and Bertha were the parents of the following known children: Herbert II, Count of Vermandois, Béatrice of Vermandois (880–931), married King Robert I of France, Sprota de Vermandois, Pepin Vermandois, Berenger of Vermandois Count of Bayeux and Cunigunde of Vermandois.

Bertha died on 15 Jun 916 in Vermandois, Aisne, Picardie, Kingdom of France.
