Anita Mae Knapp, 70, of 7394 St. Rt. 97, Lot 13 died at home Sunday morning, September 17, 2000 after an extended illness. Mrs. Knapp was born April 13, 1930 in Akron, Ohio living in the Mansfield area since 1966.
She is survived by her husband, William; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathie & David Shaffer of Johnsville; two granddaughters, Shaina and Sarah Shaffer; a half brother, Florian Smith of Lima; a half sister, Tana Joy of Lima; numerous nieces and nephews; and an uncle and aunt, William & Alice Smith of Lima. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl J. Smith and Glenna C. Workman Wood.
Graveside services will be held at a later date. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is assisting the family with arrangements.
