She died on August 17, 1934 in Manila, Philippines after an illness of three days from infantile paralysis. She was the wife of Lieutenant Joseph C. Odell, formerly attached to the 30th Infantry at the Presidio. She was the daughter of Major General and Mrs. Edward F. McGlachlin of Washington, D.C.
