Born in Majdaz, Yugoslavia to Todor and Ange Vuckasovich Gojkovich, he came to the United States in 1889, and to Globe 25 years before his death. He was a retired groceryman. lived at 501 E. Mesquite St, and was buried in the Serbian plot of Pinal Cemetery. He was survived by his wife; two daughters; four grandchildren; a sister in Yugoslavia; two sisters, Mrs. Elena Radanovich of La Mesa, CA, and Mrs. Rade Zlakovich of San Francisco, CA; a niece, Mrs. William DeLao of Globe; and other nieces and nephews in California. Gravesite Details Obituary and death certificate both say he was buried in the Serbian plot of Pinal Cemetery. However, on Jun 17, 1954, the Arizona Record reported that his remains were shipped to Herceg-Novi, Yugoslavia, where his wife and daughters reside.
