Kayla Walker was born July 9, at Cox South Medical Center, Springfield, to Billy and Deborah (Quatt) Walker. She departed this life one hour and 23 minutes later.
She is survived by her parents, of Squires; one brother, Tyler Walker, Squires; one sister, Sarah Walker, Squires; her grandparents, Arlene and Cecil Walker, Squires and Gary and Wanda Quatt, Seymour.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 am today (Thursday) at Murray Cemetery south of Ava with the Rev. Tom Johnson officiating. Services are under the direction of Ragan - Thieme Funeral Home, Ava.
NOTE: I am not sure (unless it was a misunderstanding of the name) of why her mother's and maternal grandparents last name is listed as "Quatt" in the newspaper obituary. On her mother's Memorial (Deborah) there is documentation that her mother's maiden name is Wright.
